Savannah’s booming tourism industry has attracted investors and young professionals globally, leading to the displacement of long-term residents from their generational neighborhoods to areas lacking access to healthier food options, thereby becoming disconnected from the local community. Our business plan for Quilted Kitchen aims to serve as a bridge between local and newcomer residents of Savannah. My contribution to Quilted Kitchen began as the primary researcher for our business model, logo concept, and the design of the webpage and brand guidelines book. Together we developed the brandmark, logo, and color palette to complete our visual identity. With each design approach, we made sure the essence of community and connection stayed throughout.
